Fudge Chiffon Cake - Large Cake - 1949

For Small Cake, halve all ingredients and bake according to Basic Chiffon Cake.

Note: This cake uses an icing that is also known as Glossy Chocolate Icing, which is also used on the Marble Chiffon Cake. The difference between the two icings is that the Fudge Icing species the use of hot milk while the Glossy Chocolate Icing does not. The Fudge Icing also calls for 20% more hot milk (if needed). Otherwise, the two recipes are exactly the same.
